Having just returned from a holiday to SE Asia, I was shocked to see the activities of a very small percentage of western tourists. Massage parlours with obviously underage children on show, and a plethora of frankly horrendous stories from locals and expats alike. There would seem to be very little in the way of a deterrent and reporting. It would seem the short period of time that they are on holiday for is not long enough for them to be caught, and they “get away with it”.

Obviously, being able to go on holiday is a freedom we all enjoy, but when the few act on opportunities abroad, how do we not only protect those kids being exploited abroad, but protect children at home.

Is anyone aware of any success stories? The NCA has made it a primary concern, but what is being done?

You have write SE Asia. Id like to point out problem does not affect whole of SE Asia. Thailand, Cambodia parts of Vietnam have problem with this.
